Went to les schwabs today to have my RPF1 17x9s put on with the 35mm offset and they said they wouldn't fit. WTF?! I know the 35mm works on 17x8 so what should I need on the 17x9? Any help greatly appreciated..I want rims NOW lol...btw they are 15.9 lbs. What are the stock evoVIII rims weigh in at???

I would give this site a try. http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp If you own the wheels, have you put them on to see if they will clear the brakes?

He says they didn't clear the brakes but I know of one other evo that ran this same rim and size and they worked...What about NP03s? I like those as well.

Maybe the other guy used spacers to compensate the difference. Also, I'm not sure of what wheels you are referring to. When it comes to new wheels, I always will go to tirerack because they guarantee the fitment and they have plenty of rims to choose from. But if you are looking for a specific wheel, I would go straight to the manufacture.

They won't fit because you have to run a 20mm spacer up front. Do your research next time to save the hassle of bringing the rims around the tire store

Everyone with those needs a 15-20mm front spacer for the spokes to clear the front Brembos. Keep in mind this may not apply to other 35mm offset wheels.
