Quick Brake Bleed Question

When i'm bleeding by calipers, is it normal for air bubbles to be coming out of the nipple once i have the screw fully tightened? When i have hte pedal depressing and i open the screw it bleeds fine, and once i close the screw and have the other person left off the pedal it looks like air bubbles are coming out of the nipple. Is it just from the fluid i got out already moving downt he tube? or is it something else. I made sure the screw was tight and there still seemed to be bubbles. Thanks alot.

Keep the bleed hose you are using up in the air so the fluid stays in it and you shouldn't have any bubbles once the air is bled out of the system.

yea when the screw is open and fluid is coming out i don't have any bubbles, but when i close off the screw it just looks like air is coming form the nipple. But i'm guessing since the screw is closed its not air coming from the brake system?

It soulds like it is just air leaking in from between the nipple and your hose. Remove the hose, dry the nipple, press the brake a few times and then see it there is any nipple seepage.

Be careful not to overtighten the nipple, it is a small thread, and does not need a lot of torque to seal.

nipple, nipple, nipple...

If you have tightened the screw down then nothing can/should be coming out of it.

sounds like the bleeder valve is not closed enough and could be drawing air in. Make sure you are doing it properly or you are really going to make it worse.
