Noises After Spring Install?

yeah i'm pretty sure it's on right. i installed the spring on the shock twice. if the lube doesnt solve the problem then i'm gonna reinstall the spring one more time. then i'm gonna jack up the front end of the car and have someone turn the wheel back and forth and see if i can see anything wrong.

well i'm still hearing the noise, but i dont get any resistance when i turn the wheel completely to the left. i jacked up the car so both wheels would be in the air and i turned the wheel completely to the left and right and i heard no sounds or anything. i hear the sound coming from the front left wheel when i start the car. it sounds like a deep rattle or like metal scratching metal. it goes away after a second, but comes and goes when i'm driving straight.
