Any Camber Plates for Stock Suspension?

I did a search and not much is coming back. Found some info on ones for coilovers, but nothing really for stock.

Trying to research camber plates for the EVO using stock suspension. Wondering if you have to cut anything on the car (like on some other makes) or is it a direct bolt on replacement?

Second question...what are my options and what is the approx price range?

Thanks.

i would assume that most camber plates would fit the stock suspension.

i know for a fact that the works camber plates do, because i have them.

they're $260 new.

Cusco plates work fine with the stock suspension.

I ran Works plates on my Bilsteins in the past. Worked great.

Are you just wanting more camber adjustability?

I think it's simpler to upgrade your suspension personally. You'll end up paying the 200-300 for the camber plates and close to $100 for another alignment. That's assuming you do the installation yourself.

sort of. I want to be able to go between street camber and aggressive camber without having to get an alignment. I used up my tires prematurely before by running what i thought was an ok comprimise (-2 deg) on the street and that is no fun. I also want to be able to fine tune camber based on tire temp readings.

Yes, I plan on changing the springs as well, if I do camber plates.

How is that going to work? You have to adjust the toe. When you add negative camber, you add toe IN. If you don't adjust the toe every time one of two things will happen.

1) Your track/aggressive setting will have toe in and handle terribly.

or

2) Your street settings will have toe out and wear front tires _really_ fast.

Based on your feedback, I did some more searching. Here is what I got:

Tein (~$160):

http://www.lancershop.com/customer/p...cat=105&page=1

Cusco (~$230):

http://www.machevo.com/cucapl.html

WRP {Works} ($260):

http://www.worksevo.com/store/produc...roducts_id=129

Ground Control (~380):

http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/g...3-p-28986.html

HKS (~$540) Two way adjustable:

http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/h...5-p-30028.html

So, why is the Tein one so cheap compared to the others? What does it not have?

You are correct. Toe plates. This can be done on site by me, don't need to take it to a shop or have an alignment machine: http://www.ioportracing.com/instructions/toeplate.htm

Then you're set.

Whiteline now makes plates as does Cirodesign.

EDIT: BTW, I think the Tein and the works are identical.

Yeah, that's what I thought...until I looked at larger pictures and there seem to be some differences.

According to info in https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh....php?p=5175051, these are for coilovers only (at this time anyway).

Can't find any info on Cirodesign.

I think they are built to order with caster adjustment.
