Tire question

19 x 8.5 wheel. Is it ok to run 225/35/19 tires?

That size will work on 7.50 to 9.00" wheels so you should be fine.

why would you want skinner than stock (235)? Isn't that going the wrong direction? I guess if you want it for show, whatever floats your boat.

I dont want too. Wheels would come with those tires and i would be getting a good deal. I would have to run the tires for a couple months though. Anyways I dont feel comfortable going with a 225 so Im not going to get them

do not run a smaller than stock width tire, an Army safety report that came out after a Soldier killed while racing against his buddy in his Evo, stated that the cause was loss of control due to running the exact size as you stated, probably because it was a "good deal". It would be a better deal for you to buy the wheels and appropriate size tires individually if you have to because it is just not safe.
