problems with megan coilover

well i have megan coilovers, and my problem is that the front left coilover is messing up and cambering alot. i used the camber plate up top and brought it to get alligned(not sure if spelling is right). and the all the wheels have a -0.5 camber but the front left is - 1.4 . and that was the first time and had to get a new front left tire . I went back and got everything fixed and the guy said that the camber plates are all maxed out and i cant get the camber any better. so i need help an input!!! i also heard that a camber bolt might help but i need help! i hate this camber and pulling to the right

Hey man,
You could PM Bishop Motorsports, vendor on here, who are a dealer for Megan. They install, align, and corner balance these at thier shop so maybe they have experienced this before. They are in New England so I know you cant stop in but maybe calling them with questions might help.
Good luck man.

If your front left wore out that much more quickly than the others and the car pulls to one side, then it sounds like Toe is your bigger problem. What's the toe readings from your most recent alignment?

The least Camber you'll get is -1.4 that is correct. Why would you want less in the front? You should aim for -1.5

The rears you should run -1.0

That's what happens when you purchase $hi77y intellectual knockoff cheap thai ladyboy bull****. You should sell those and buy some hks's or apexi's or something else real. That would solve your problem.

If your max positive camber is -1.4* then I would look for damaged suspension parts. Those camber plates should provide about 4* of adjustment. You can also add or subtract a degree using the factory camber bolt.

Now -1.4* is perfect for both sides so it shouldn't wear out tires at all. Even though the camber is good that doesn't explain why your range of adjustment is not normal. Has this car been in an accident or driven over a curb?

Well that is more than likely it.

What did you replace after hitting the curb?

Normally you will bend the coil over and lower control arm.

I guess with aftermarket coilovers, that camber bolt on the stock suspension doesn't matter??? Pointed one way it's -1, pointed the opposite way it's -2. If you're off by exactly 1, I would check into it. I'm not sure if the coilovers retain that bolt though.

Check step # 14. There's a picture too.

I would just look real quick. You can do it without taking the wheels off. Just look through them and verify that the tiny "triangles" (arrows) on the bolt are facing the same direction as the "good" front wheel.

Its from the curb. Take a good look at the coil over as that would bend first.
