i know 19s are considered a big NO NO on the evo, but what about lightweight 19s (20lbs or less)? would they still have a big negative impact on performance? i figure the larger diameter probably would not be good, but maybe the weight could help balance everything out. appreciate helpful info, any please do not flame as i do know 19s generally are not good, just curious about lightweight 19s.

i have advan rs 19x9s on my evo 9
i have never weighed them, but with a 245/35/19 dunlop sportsmaxx they are noticeably lighter to lift

the only performance difference i notice is taking off, other than that, the car feels the same
