Rota P45F?

I know this is either a dumb post or im a jerk. But i just have a question for the wheel guys..

Im lookin to get a new set of rims for the evo and i have a chance at getting a set of Rota P45F Wheels. 5x114.3 of course, They are 18 x 8.0 Wide and have a + 48 offset. Will I have any chance of these wheels fitting??? They were on an 06 STI, when i heard that i rememeberd how terrible offsets STI's had and that kinda blew my hopes..

I was wondering if anyone knows if these will fit ???

That offest is definately high for an evo, but they might squeeze in without hitting your suspension because they are only 8" wide. your wheels will stick in 18mm more on the inside compared to your stock wheels... so you could always eye ball the clearance for a crude test. otherwise, just buy some +20mm spacers and you would fit just fine for sure.

Stock wheels are +38... these are 8mm more inboard (about 3/10ths of an inch). As for clearing the brakes, I would get in touch with Subydude - he would know best.

If you are not running a spacer, I would not get these wheels - even the stock offset tucks into the fenders too much (from a looks standpoint... also IMHO).

^^ good advice' subydude is someone to talk to about this.

I'm an advocate of buying something once never looking back. You might be spending so much time or a little more money getting these to fit, when Subydude could get you a +38 set of Rotas for pretty damn cheap. Its worth a look!

What's the point of buying something that won't fit right for the sake of getting a good deal? You'll end up spending again in a couple of months after cursing the decision to get a set for the sake of a deal. Buy something that fits right, and be done with it.

That's just my 2 cents.
