I have the same tires for the same price (+ or - a couple $) even after shipping cost....Could get you an exact amount if you want to PM your zip code to me. You dont need 15 people to get that "deal" either. Thats what I charge on a daily basis. Yoko's will cost about $5 more a tire and quantity is limited. Currently have those as well.

An Illinois tire dealer $675/4 (inc. mounting):
- $150 each? (just a guess, depends on mounting price)
- includes mounting & balance (roughly $80-$100 value?)
- shipping NOT included
- need 15 people
- add local taxes

Tire Rack Web Site $679/4 (inc. shipping):
- $161 each
- no mounting & balance (unless you buy rims from them)
- shipping ~$35 (according to my zip code)
- no group needed
- probably no taxes if shipped from out of state.

Come on Neal.....pull some strings there!

Many moderators on may boards have been approached with the group discount idea in the past. Unfortunately, we cannot sponsor a group buy. Even if I sell a large quantity to an individual over the phone no discounts apply. We always try to put our best price out there initially so there is no haggling. Many times we come out better, sometimes we dont. It all depends on the product. Sorry guys/gals, its just not my decision.

I just decided and bought a set of the ContiExtremeContact tires from the rack after talking with Neal. Believe the all weather capabilities will work well in the suburbs. Plan on installing them early September on a set of stock rims. Will let all know how they are after install and then again after the snow flies.
