Hehe, oops, I used to race formula vee's, and spec mazda's. I ran 1 season in the formula dodge national championship, had a 5" growth spurt in 3 months (ouch), and couldn't fit in the car anymore...oh well. Wasn't trying to offend you, just making my "suspension" point

Some good info here I've been leary of taking on the suspension at this point because I'm not sure I've found a solution I like yet. As for wheels and tires; yeah, those will be addressed. I want to go after the bigger replacement items first; still using the stock wheel and tire combo as baseline. (Did that make sense?) Basically I want to get the suspension where I want it before I start playing with tires and rims.

I know my first mod should really be brake pads and hi-temp fluid; I cooked the stock set-up pretty well on my first track day. Since then I've changed my breaking to stress the stock system less on track days. I've done another 5 or so without re-cooking anything.

It looks like my first mod will be power, though. I've ordered Shiv's turbo back stage one kit. I'm hoping it shows this week.

Let me know how that goes. I've been contemplating that too.

Are you going to try the 93 octane maps on Holiday gas? Or are you going to play it safe with the 91 octane?

Are you installing everything yourself?

I will be doing the install myself, but Trigeek37 has offered to lend a hand. As for the maps; I'll probably try the 93 maps first. If I have problems I will try the 91 maps.

what's the use of power when you have to corner at 20MPH??

Suspension/Brake are ALWAYS the first things to do.

Fair point! I'm not sure of where I want to go with the suspension, though.

I'm currently trying to decide between the JIC coilovers or a set of Espelir super down springs (Link: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...threadid=26440 ) and a set of Koni's. Any opinions?

Option number 3 should be Driving School.
