New PIAA FR-7 wheel

Here's the new PIAA FR-7 wheel which comes in a 2 piece and a one piece wheel. Sizes right now are 17 inch for the EVO. What is nice is the amount of finish choices and they have a polished lip that many people like. They will retail around $425 each and I will get everyone the wheel weights shortly. Sizes are 17 x 8 and 17 x 9 .

Those are awesome. Is the one piece wheel all one color? With all the brake dust this car pukes up, A polished lip would be hard to maintain. Get those weights ASAP. Thanx.

I talked with PIAA tonight and the chick had no clue about the wheel weights so she sent me to another guy who told me to call back tomarrow. The mono 17 inch wheel also has a polished lip, it comes in gold, silver, gun metal. Here's a pic.

Okay, so the 2 piece comes in black, just waiting on the weights for each now. Oh, how long is the ETA after order?? I'm assuming you don't have any of these wheels in stock.

PIAA

I'm sorry but what the heck does PIAA know about rims? They make lights and wiper blades. Not yet another rim maker to crowd the market with me too type products.

Most rims are made by some random Japanese company and some US company slaps their label on them...

from the PIAA Japan website. Similar to what value posted, but with bottom attached. Look at the "Rice" column...hehe. It appears PIAA has a decent selection of wheels.

PIAA has been making wheels for many years. They just haven't sold them in the US. They also have a F3 racing team in Japan.

Value,
That's a very large lip on the wheel. Even in 8" is this going to clear our calipers?
