How durable are the stock BBS wheels?

By durable I mean, will they bend easily? I go over some rough roads that are littered with pot holes on my way to work and I can't help but feel bad about the abuse I put my wheels through. Should I be worried that I might dent a rim?

You have not seen potholes until you've driven in Chicago. I drive daily with my BBS rims and I also have coilovers. I have avoiding and also hit some dccent size potholes without a worry. Don't worry you'll be fine but I would still try to avoid all potholes if you can.

They are Forged...its the most expensive and strongest way to manufacture a wheel. If you bend one of the BBS wheels, you'll bend anything.

Don't worry about potholes. Pleanty of them here in Guam, and my BBS rims are fine.

Stonger and lighter then anything available for the Evo. Just run a 45 series tire on it. I had 19' wheels with 35 series rubber and I bent all 4 in no time. Nothing but OEM wheels for me.

Enkie RPF-1's are great too, get those.

I agree! This past winter was the worst ever in the Chi considering potholes. Winter tires and BBS rims for the FTW during winter!

I've continued to be very impressed with the stock BBS wheels; I've curbed that right rear tire hard enough to push the entire rear end of the car way out (a la power-on oversteer) during a fast right hand turn.

Just a surface scratch but no bending.

They're Terminator strong.

At a lapping day I hit the back side of a corner curb with a 5" lip at about 50mph.

The BBS took the grunt of the blow. I blew an Advan, bent lower control arm, and destroyed a coil over. The rim was damaged beyond repair but did not collapse and stayed round. I was very very impressed with the strength of the rim. I will dig up a picture if I can find one.
