diamond black bbs gone?

The vin on my car pulls up diamond black finish, but the part #number it pulls up is a silver bbs wich is nowhere near the same. Anyone have a problem getting a new wheel in diamond black finish from mitsubishi? I am thinking this is a new issue since I can not find any info.

A little update. Mitsubishi has two different colors for the bbs rims silver and grey. So a little word to the wise if you have the diamond black bbs rims hang on to them, cause you can't get them from bbs as far as I can tell.

What? I think mosy people know the stock BBS rims come in two colors. One was only for the MR which is the gray color and the other came on the SE models which was diamond black. Nothing new....

Nobody is getting this I guess. So here it goes: Silver and diamond black are not the same. Silver is bright and shiney, diamond black is like gunmetal completely different, shiney yes, but not bright. Mitsubishi only has part numbers for silver and grey. I would like to know the motivation for this. Anyone with an SE or MR w/ the appearance package, is now SOL when they need to replace a RIM. Why offer the wrong color? I could see not offering any at all, but a color that was not evan an option does not make sense.
Any insight would be cool.

Hell, I made a thread earlier looking for touch-up paint for the SE BBS'. I guess I'd better take care of my wheels!!
