I love my REO1rs, I have no complaints.... I have been able to keep up and pass a slicked Porsche at the last HPDE I was at..

I actually shift more pressure to the rear. I used an IR gage to dial in my pressures and on a grippier asphalt (as opposed to a slippery asphalt-freshly sealed) surface I found the tires balanced at 33.5F/36R. I need more camber (only at -2ft/-1rr)but they seam to work better for me at lower pressures.

This most likely means that you hadn't completely worn the protective compound coating on the tires. All new tires have this coating and until it is scrubbed off they are all very slick. I'm currently using the RE01-Rs as my STU race tires and they are definately more grippy than the stocks. The RE01-Rs have more ultimate grip than the stock tires but have a little slower turn in response FWIW.
