Rotorpros do not come cross drilled. They are either blank, slotted, or slotted and dimpled. For street use, I'd get blank rotorpros. I currently run slotted fronts and am still running my original set of slotted and dimpled rotorpros in the back for a good dual purpose street/track setup. FYI, the slotted and dimpled version is noisy, sound like a bunch of crickets are following you around.

I've also had decent success with the HPS pads, although I will be trying the PFC Metallic Z pads ($115F/$95R) after my HPS give up the ghost. Maybe its their age, but the HPS just does not have good initial bite at all on my car.

No, reuse the shims off your stock pads ... especially the trapezoid shaped one, which goes between the caliper and the rectangular shim. I clean the shims every time I swap pads with brake cleaner and then apply some of the anti-squeal goo.

I paid $240 shipped for 4 slotted rotors and pads from r0t0rpr0s dot com.

I'm also not sure why people are stating to reuse the stock shims. If you use high temp silicone on the backsides and edges of the pads, you won't get any squeal.

I've used these rotors/pads at autocross events and they've held up extremely well so far.

I got Front and Rear Pads and Rotors for my IX from BrakePlanet.com. I spent like 130.00 shipped.

My intital feelings of these pads and rotors were: "yep, these are definately 130.00 pads and rotors".

I daily drive my EVO, and aside from the occasional quick stop, the performance of the pads and rotors is acceptable given their hugely cheap price. Dealer wanted nearly 1700.00 for replacement of all four corners. 130.00 was my price and I installed them. Best part is that the rotors come with a lifetime warranty against warping, and the pads against fading (although every pad will inevitably see some fading, so I suppose the latter of the two is just a marketing ploy to make the package look absolutely worth it. And at 130.00 shipped for pads and rotors front and rear, I could care less about their longegivity, at this price I can afford to replace them mutliple times.

Right off the bat the these pads and rotors combo is loud, and requires some heating to become useful. However, I have noticed that as I put more miles on the cheap shyt pads and rotors, the performance is becoming slightly better, and the noise is just about gone. Definiately light years away from what Brembo offers, but I have priorities, like college and work, and building credit, you know, boring stuff.

I was looking at brakeplanet as well. I posted a thread about it but only one other person posted about having any experience about it. Did you get the regular stock replacement? I went ahead and ordered rotorpros after waiting so long for a response from anyone knowing anything about this company.
