i always preferred ferodos on the cars i raced professionally...

we did brake pad testing for 3 days straight for hawk, ferodo, pf, etc.. and I always ended up going i like these... and the engineers would say "these are the ferodo's again.

Just don't get the spongy street project mu's for the track. And they have a pretty loud squeal.

I like my Ferodo 2500's very much. The initial bite is good and can handle heat much better than stock or Project Mu street pads. My Ferodo's are also noise free!

LOVE my DS2500's. Dust and squeal are acceptable levels, and when I nail the middle pedal my sunroof visor/shade slams shut. They are a GREAT upgrade. Do SS lines at the same time.

DS2500's FTW! They can't be beat for a street/track combo. That's what I run on my car. For a pure track pad the DS300's are nice or PF97's.

Boo Hawk, I haven't liked them.

yep! DS2500 is very good for street. I have it on my 03 evo for a while and it's out last and out brake the stock one.

Run my 2500's for the street and for track. Great pads Not cheap but better than buying 2 sets and having to change them all the time, good balace.

Tip: Take the fiber shims off the back of the stock brembos and put them on the 2500s with the metal shims too, quiet as stock now.

Good luck

I've been running DS2500s for two or three years now on the street/autocross/track. They've been great.

^^Are you talking about the PF Z rated. I know AMS likes them alot and have heard they are very good. Been thinking about going with those since they are a good chunk cheaper than the ferodos.

they are not the Z rated pads. you should talk to nick about them because they are not in the usual PF lineup.

Ive used the EBC greens. Hawk HPS and the Ferodo DS2500s. Ontop of the stock pads. The EBCs were junk. They heat faded fast but had a high initial bite. The HPS had good bite and never faded on me but were noisey. I like the Ferrodos the best in terms of never fading, bite, noise and wear. But the do dust more then theother two. Not as much as stock tho. If I had my choice and didnt have to pay for them. OEM or Ferodo.
