Off Road Evo

I was wondering how hard it would be to make a Evo VIII capable of doing some light off roading. By that I mean mostly the beach, and muddy river beds. It was just curious to find out if Evo's do good in the Sand and mud.

Dude......

The EVO is a rally car, IDK how much you know about the history behind it , but i suggest you look it up.... (its actually pretty interesting)

The EVO was made with one thing in MIND = Rally therefore will perform great in sandy , wet and hostile conditions...

Just keep in mind, your car is not prepped as the Rally cars are... So dont be pulling no GIGI stunts, catching 6 FT of air, and expecting your car to be cool w it... hahaha

I know that the Evo is a rally car, but I wasnt sure if it could go out on the beach with stock tires and not get stuck.

If you plan on doing off-roading you should look into a set of tires other than summer performance ones. Even a M+S rated all-season would be better.

That would be awesome. I'll look for it as well.

I started a different Thread because no one seemed to see it.

Yeah i'm just really interested in finding out what I need to go out on the beach and not get stuck. My buddy bet me $20 i couldn't, because I gave him crap about getting his 2 wheel drive jeep stuck.

Yea I wouldnt go with the stock advans lol, get at least a good set of all-seasons and some mud flaps to protect your paint.

I go all the time in the mud and have never had a problem (other then mud caked in my wheel making it feel like the tire was flat lol)
