Robispec or Swift Springs?
I personally have spoke to Robi and have Swifts on my car. From his stand point the Swifts are "great" springs. Light, less coils, handle great and have a nice drop...
Either choice will be a good one.
The most important question is who's doing your alignment and how low do you wanna go...

well i have the robi springs and they are amazing i thing they are amazing for DD mitchubishi rode in my car right after and he even said they are impressive for springs...also robi spring will not blow your struts like other springs.... just my 2 cents
Not everyone needs or wants coil-overs. Coil-overs to some people may be overkill. An Evo that'll never see the track that has coil-overs, in my opinion, is a waste. Besides, an Evo with a good spring/strut combo that is well set up is still capable of out-handling an evo with coil-overs. Coil-overs don't suddenly make you car better.
Anyway, either way you go, they're both great springs.

i just got off the phone with Robi (Robispec) this guy is an awsome person very friendly and willing to answer all my questions, he guided me on what i need for my application, street and once in a while track autox and 1/4 mile,,, he suggested the basic coilover package and or even the spring package.
to add to what you have said two evos up in minnesotta one with coiovers and one with the springs on stock shocks,, guess what the ciolover evo wont even get close to the evo with springs,,,,,, but he did admit the guy is a great driver so that helps too.
i am going with the lowering spring set from Robi it lowers the car 1" all around you do not want to go lower that inch,, also the bushing and special suspension pckg.....
This is the only reason why I have held off on getting some springs/coilovers. Our cars are already low compared to most cars and I cringe anytime I got over a bump or anything, hoping I don't scrape.
tunit..same with me. especially given there are many frost heaves in new hampshire during the winter months (dec-april here)..but then again i really do like the look of the car lowered and would obviously enjoy the improved handling..
Use Swift Spring
I used Swift Spring on my EVO IX MR with stock Bilstein shocks, the car lowered to about 1.4 front and 0.8 back. I use Potenza RE01- R and drove my car around the twisty roads of Niles Canyon by the Bay Area in Northern California. I can honestly say I have no regrets with my choice, I will be upgrading my sway bar and most definitely it would be Swift again. The springs I replaced before Swift where Eibachs, my car would nose dive on tight corners, but not with Swift. Try it and you'll see what I mean. All for now.

I see.
thanks guys.
but I am trying to keep the stock feel in my car. My cousin had some coilovers and they ride pretty rough. and springs are pretty minor to me. (I know it's an Evo and all, but I am trying to keep it as a DD and not for a track car.)
But I will be in the market for coilovers, maybe in the future.
and judging by yalls response Robispec seems to be the winner. I'll research more on Robispec.
