Brakes/rotors for Evolution 1.

Are these parts compatible from any North American market cars, or do I have to order replacements from Japan?

The front rotors will be Galant VR4 E39A, which are available at the dealer. The rears will have to be special order since there is no offset similar to the FTO or Evo in the USA.

Front rotors- MR389725

front Pads are the same as the GVR4 also. Rear pads are the same shape as 2g dsm. You need to special order the rear disks though.. the only catch.

...except I have one and I just answered the question with part numbers. The thing is that they won't know what you can or can't get in the US. This forum was the perfect place to ask that question.

the rear pads are actually the same ones from a 93-94 mirage LS 4 door. The eclipse pads do not fit the rear, but they do fit the front.

And evo 1-5's were all gray market imports into the UK, therefore they do know allot about which parts fit what from what, and also which aftermarket companies make upgrade parts (pads, rotors, ect), most of which are available over here.

But thanks for the thought alex!

Dealers in the UK can get parts for all evos. Evos have been around in the UK since 1993 when they were released. (a lot longer than here) so I disagree that because some were grey market that the UK owners "don't know a lot"

Check out a place like Camskill they have a ton of parts. Coordsport, Steve Hill, Norris, etc etc Dealers in the US can't us anything (as you know)
