wouldn't the 2inch drop be too much for for those shocks/struts? what do you expect for the shock/strut life to be? Are these on a evo? springs rates for the h&r's.

i would like a 2 inch drop all around.

Well, it would handle better and ride smoother if the drop was less then 2 inches. Giving up about 2 inches of bump travel has it's consequences.

Audi v. Evo - lots of differences.

Andrew already hit it. 2in on our cars w/struts doesnt work.

wouldn't i be giving up .5 inch of bump travel compared to most of the recomened springs on here? if that is too much i'll take your words for it because i'm no suspension tech!

-2in is too much. -1.4: Swifts or -0.8 GTWorx is fine.

For the PRICE, I'd get Bilstein HD's (new from tirerack) instead of the used MR's.

It's cheaper and you'll be sure that the strut won't have issues due to it being used..

^ I purchased use MR struts and am on RobiSpec lowering springs (-1" at all four corners). Honestly once lowered the blisteins don't feel any different than the GSR KYB struts. I don't think its worth paying more for Blisteins unless you run them on the stock springs.

I would get a set of low mileage GSR struts for $250 shipped then add springs.

If you must get Blisteins.... Buy new. There is no way to tell the condition of a set of used struts. Someone could have driven over a curb, jumped the car, tracked the crap out of it, or driven it in salty winter conditions. Simply hearing they have X miles means nothing.

$500 for a used set of struts with no history is too much especially when you can get a set of used KYBs (nearly identical when lowered) for half the price.

If I had to do it all over again I would buy a set of Megan Racing Street coil overs and call it a day. Hundreds of excellent reviews and they last a long time. 100% control over height, camber, corner balance, and ride comfort (dampening).
