Angry Which rotors should I get??

I called the dealer about my steering wheel shaking on braking over 100 miles and they said most likely the rotors are warped and they will replace them. I am worried because I heard that these rotors are OEM Mitsu not Brembo so I am affraid that I am wasting my time. Should I buy like Endless rotors and let the dealer install them for free??? on the other hand endless does not offer drilled rotors which I like. so which drilled high quality rotors can I get for my EVO as polt on with no modifcation???
Thanks

Brembo rotors have the holes cast in. The claim is that they are less likely to develop stress cracks around the holes (e.g. Porsche's rotors are manufactured like this). This claim seems to hold up in my experience. I have not found a "cross drilled" rotor which has cast in holes for the Evo.

I have had problems with grooved rotors when the goove is not cut to the edge of the rotor. The pad wears over the goove more than outside of the groove thus causing problems developing maximum breaking force. This makes me reluctant to use them on the Evo.

There is an aluminum hat rotor from Pruven that has the groove cut to more or less the edge. I wonder what rotors do they use?

I know AP make rotors for our cars. But if u going that way, might as well get their whole 6 pot package. hehehe. Project Mu also has slotted rotors for our cars which have good feedback and are affordable as well.

As I recall AP Racing parts are expensive but very very good. Here is the link,

Also for Project Mu,

The other thread seems to say that Brembo's are months away from release.

AP rotors are from AP Racing of the UK.

Pruven per the other thread is unknown. On the other hand their web site has a picture which seems to indicate the source. Read the other thread.....

Found Evo Brembo 1-piece rotors on the Brembo price sheet. Here is their description.

"Sport Brake Systems - At the Sport level, an end user can find both an introductory performance solution combined with an appealing aesthetic application. The Sport level is comprised of a 1-piece drilled or slotted and solid or vented rotors according to your original manufacturers requirements. A complete set of performance pads may be available."

See the reference to the other thread cited above.

Yes DBA makes 2-piece rotors but they do not use floating hats. My guess is that the Pruven rotors are in fact DBA products.

i think we need to send a mass email to stoptech and get them to produce some 2pc replacements for the EVO. i had their setup on my subie and loved it.
they do have a complete setup for the car but i think that most will only want to get the rotors.
