buy a buick.

Dead serious. You want a performance car or a cadillac?

And 5 year old struts are likely shot. If you go with the IX MR springs and bilsteins you'll have a softer ride, but it still won't ride like a buick.

Or a Porsche... Like I did

I got the performance car and the cadillac. Half the reason (yes, really, a whole half) I sold the Evo is that I was tired (and so were other people) of driving around in it on normal roads.

BUT, also agree with the other part of what goofygrin said: you're struts are probably shot, right before I sold the car the JICs I had on it were shot. It was bouncy as hell. But I switched back to the stocks and they felt a good deal better. Still a 27k Ferrari though, gotta take sacrifices somewhere. The IX MR springs and bilsteins are likely your best option for smoothest ride with least performance lost, but they're still not amazing.

Smaller wheels with tires with larger and less stiff sidewalls will help too, but... that will hurt performance for sure.

haha yea i plan to keep the car i dont want to put myself in another car loan for 3 or 4 years especially the way the economy is right now but yea it sucks wen your gurl or, parents ride with you n they say " Your car is to bouncy and rough" LOL so as for the springs are the swift springs softer than the stock springs? Also are the Bilstein HD shocks softer and perform better than stock shocks?

I would stick to IX MR springs and struts, they will probably be cheaper, still perform about as well as your stock ones (especially since they are probably shot now) and be a decent bit softer.

I got "I'm not riding with you, let's take my car" ALL the time... And then it was always "Here, I don't want to drive, you drive" So I got to drive around a TSX all the freakin time. With the 'rents they'd never even ride with me, they'd always drive. PITA.

Yup, stock will ride better then Swift on Bilsteins. I personally don't think Swifts are too harsh on Bilsteins by any means, but just get the Bilsteins if you're really just looking for ride quality. I'd expect it to handle better then your stock KYB dampers too.

MR Bilsteins are great, but you can get new Bilstein HDs for just a little more then used Bilstein MRs. Little bit safer that way unless you know the history of the used stuff.

Bilstein shocks and Eibach ProKit springs; they ride better than the Swifts but don't perform as well.
