i am an owner of an evo 7 and i love the way the car handles and all but i would like to lower it an inch or more, but i wanted to know if anyone did it, and if yes how does the car perform, is it a much rougher ride, and how does it look , and what type of springs did u use, Thank u

Did you read the FAQ in this forum?
You can lower your car with lowering springs if you just want it to look lower. But it wont improve the handling and the car will be harsher over potholes and bumps.
If you want the real thing, buy a set of competition dampers with springs. This could be Proflex or Öhlins or similar products like Reiger or DMS. You'll need to specify gravel or tarmac spec and spring rates.
For even better handling with no oversteer below 80 - 100 kmh, buy a front LSD!
