CORRECT hub centric rings for Rotas?

I have 18x9.5 Rota P45FRs on my car and have been trying to figure out what the actual size is for hub centric rings.

On the wheeldude.com site most of the Rotas are listed at either a 73mm diameter or 67.1

Since my wheels are a little big for our 67.1mm Evo hubs I'd assume that the correct hub centric ring would be a 73mm into 67.1 piece....

BUT

I got a hold of a set of 73.1mm into 67.1mm hub centric rings and they didn't fit inside the ROTA hubs - rings were just too big.

Thought it might be just my own set of wheels so I went down to a local shop where they sell ROTAS and tried my hub centric rings on P45Rs sitting on the shelf with a sticker on the outer rim specifically stating that the hub diameter on the rim was 73mm....but the hub centric rings still didn't fit?!

So I'm kindof confused...anyone know what the correct hub diameter for the ROTAS actually is? 72.6mm possibly?

It's kindof annoying now because I have to go through a whole process of measuring the hubs myself and getting custom rings made.

Anyone have a clue from past experience? I find it all a little weird.

theshadow - we meet again...

I have been told they are 67.1 for P45R and mine look to be - I need to go home and check now...

PS - get a set of digital calipers and measure wheel hub, perhaps?

I need to check too...wish I had digital calipers in my toolkit!

Pretty sure mine aren't 67.1 but the measurements will tell I guess...

Measure with a caliper to be sure.
Two of my P45R's were 73mm and the other two were smaller bore. Rota must of made a revision to the hub bore size at one time.
Can't remember the size right now, but they do fit standard size hub-centric rings.

Rota P45R's come in either 67.1 (hub centric) or 73 hub bore. If the wheel doesn't have a tire mounted then you can look at the sticker on the barrel of the wheel, it will tell you the exact wheel dimensions.

If you went to a local shop that had a 73 hub bore wheel and your hub rings didn't fit then they are the wrong rings.
