The answer is yes. But why waste your money on that. I would perfur to put my money else where.

I'm no expert, but I heard somewhere that the advantage of nitrogen in tires is not weight savings, but instead more consistent tire pressures in varied temperature conditions (like racing). The tire shop I use to have tires mounted uses nitrogen (no extra charge), and I've noticed that I rarely have to add air despite seasonal changes.

My jeep's tires are filled with CO2 from the tank in the cargo area. Nice being able to air down and up without hitting up a gas station, plus it takes about 45 seconds to fill each one form 14-30 psi.

Nitrogen gives you a more consistent tire pressure for daily driving and track. With that in mind, gas milage can be affected. My wife has a 2008 Sante fe. After putting nitrogen in her tires the car felt a little more steady on turns and the MPG tracker increased about 2 mpg. Oh, in case you have that bad oops real bad, NASCAR implemented nitrogen for the fact that its non-flammable. Regular air will fuel a fire. Nitrogen won't. Just food for thought.

Air is about 78% Nitrogen already. Give me a minute and I'll try to post a SCC article on the Nitrogen debate.
