Direzza - Anything Better ?
Is there an upgrade from the Direzza Star Spec, without going to R comps ? If the only next step is R comps, whats the next logical step from the Direzza ? Thank You !

well the only thing i can speculate that will be better than the direzza without going to r- compound might be the new potenzas or whatever they will be called that are suppose to come state side soon. other than that direzza's rock i have them and couldn't be happier.
I just got these tires today through tire rack. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...29#post6279129
What's their average life of this tire considering you guys have experience with this tire? I was thinking they would last somewhere around 15k miles....I think the Bridgestone Potenza RE01 are good contenders but they don't nearly come close in price range.

I have the new Kumho XS. They are a 180 treadware and really sticky. I've had them on for 3 days and it was raining for 2 so I only had a chance to go out with them yesterday. I'm really happy thus far.

I love the Z1's...They are a great tire. Quiet, grippy, and better than average handling in the wet. Last but not least, much easier on the wallet because they last about 2x as long as the NTO1, and are usually cheaper for similar sizes.

I have the Direzza Star Spec (stock size) on my car and I love them. They're as good as the original yoko's were and they're a hell of a lot less expensive. I paid about $135 a tire shipped from discounttire.com earlier this summer. Probably the best tire for street and light track use...and I've tried a lot of different tires.
i am currently running the star spec's on my car and love them, but michelin pilot sport ps2 are great tires as well, but are quite pricey in my opinion, but like others said the star specs are great bang for the buck.

, i would wait till the re11
