HKS hipermax II coilover HELP!!!

I have had my hipermax II coilovers on my car for about 2 months. I recently adjusted them to a softer setting for daily driving (5 clicks from zero) and the rear coilovers have been making clunking noises when going over bumps, which seem to subside a little after driving for a while. I tightened all the bolts with a 500 lb/tq impact gun when I installed them so I am not sure what the problem may be. Any suggestions?

check the bottom spanner. it may be slightly loose. i snug them down with a rubber mallet giving them a couple of good thumps and they stay locked down. make sure the spring is sitting correctly in their perches also. they could be rubbing something causing you to hear noise in the cabin.

check for broken spring. my muellerized jic's did that on the rear drivers side. took the tire off to look and found out that with all the salt and **** roads that we have here in the midwest, the flat end of the spring broke and it was rubbing on the lock ring.
