I purchased two sets of Rota for my RS. Definately a great set of wheels. If I was sure that Rotas would fit right on my EVO, I would get a set in a second flat. No problems with quality.

Rotas are great wheels, they are popular with wrx's. I was in the
Phillippines a few months ago where rota's are made and there
were so many of them for sale and on cars, I would get them if
they fit.

Gary Sheehan racing uses them, and has only posted good things about them on the WRX forums. (He is not sponsored by them either. www.teamsmr.com)

Rota's do fit the EVO.

you can get more info on the styles availible @

www.subydude.com

also there is a web forum @ http://forums.subydude.com for personal assistance.

You will have to use a 2-3mm spacer though.

a set of Rotas are UNDER $700...usually about 650, Shipped, I have a set on my WRX and they are great.

They are a great value and they look great as well.

if you need anymore info please feel free to call joe @ 510-378-6436 or email him @ Dude@SubyDude.com

Tell him Zoeb sent you and you are from the Evo boards...he will take care of you.

Also I attached a picture of my car with Rotas on it

Yeah I talked to subydude earlier today and he said there are no Rotas that will fit w/o spacers. He said he's looking into getting some hubcentric rings for EVO owners

I also owned two sets of Rotas for winter wheels on my WRX and had no complaints

Rota are excellent wheels for the buck, I personally like the Sub Zero's and they'd look really nice on an EVO

Rotas don't fit the EVO. You just fully qualified that with the mention of spacers. Almost any wheel will fit the EVO with spacers, that's not what we were after though.

contact Subydude for EVO fitments. last time I talked to him at the local WRX/EVO meet, he said he is trying to make some applications for EVOs. I think it would be a great set for winter use. I personally use Volks or Advans.

I talked to them and they said they think I would just need spacers. I was hoping to see if anyone else had done it first.

I had Volk's on my Type R, but that was before I was married with a 21 month old a 3 week old children. Price is my biggest concern, and I have mostly good things about these.

Hi guys, I didnt know that the local Rotas have invaded the US already. 95% of wheels are rotas here.

Hope they get good reviews there.

These wheels are tough - roads dont get any much worse than they are here in the Phil.

They were originally named Rota Italia. Typical Phil. marketing strategy as we locals love imported sounding stuff.

Just to **** you guys off, a set of rotas here is around ... $200. And thats buying from an expensive dealer.

You can actually go straight to the plant and buy there. Might be around $150 from plant.

the only wheels I bought where rotas, and I will buy them again when I switch to 17s.

This is a sample of a Phil. "good condition road". Taken from the car district Banawe, where all your Japanese Surplus stuff can be found.

The street you see is a level 2, with 1 being the best. It gets a lot worse than this.

Holy cow ... Rota Subzero/slipstream (15') at 9.5lbs (saw this on another web site) or 11.5 lbs.

Now i know why every racer here uses them.

I found it strange why guys would put a relatively "dull and old" wheel design on their cars.

I like the attack or the battle design.

gonna weight them myself this wkend. Pics for evidence

BANAWE rocks! i bought JDM evo5 headlights for my mirage for 200 over there! a full 5Zigen catback exhaust for my mirage for 100! hehehehe

Rota's have been in the US for awhile now... its just recently people started discovering them...but i remember my bro and his crew using them back in 95! o btw the roads in the phils are really really bad just like evo2 says not only that i can definately say that rotas are tough rims kus when i was there 2 years ago i saw cars equipped with rotas driving on dirt roads and other crazy bumpy roads.

hmmmm damn 200 for a set of rotas!?!?!?! damn...i was just about to order my slipstreams next week!!!! hahahaha i guess im gonna have to re-think about that...my bro is going to phils in January...hehehe is there a phil website i can order from?!?!?! hehe i doubt it...i guess i'll have to go through my bro.

im gonna have to measure a balikbayan box and see if what size rim i can fit in them

thanks for the heads up! i totally forgot about buying from the phils!
