my brembo pride is OVER!

I dropped my car off at the bodyshop a month ago and my brembos had ZERO peeling! I picked the car up last night and magically my brembos peeled....I know for a fact that they had zero peeling before because I had just brushed the dust off them and they looked flawless.

Any ideas as to WHY this happened????? I took pride in having an 03 daily driven and having no peeling.. lol

What can I put over it to prevent it from peeling anymore???

Blah, they shouldn't be nice looking anyway, not if you pound on 'em like you should

I remember back in the day when the Brembos were beautiful, then I started tracking it - now they are dark maroon, chipped, and peeling (mostly from all of the brake fluid changes). Those days are long gone for me

Contact with a number of fluids can start the delamination of the clearcoat... the most annoying one is brake fluid, believe it or not!

Just sand and paint them. No need to complain. Fix it and move on.

I had a evo sit for a few months and the side that was facing the sun every day faded and pealed the other side still looks good... its just what the sun can do to the paint.. I would say power coat them if you can.. a friend just had his done and they look better than new

did they track your evo while it was in the "shop?" is it overspray or actual peeling? post pics! did they switch your calipers with somebody that has a peeling brembo? that is why I always mark parts that can be replaced everytime I bring my car to the dealer or shop.

Just continue to peel off the rest of the clear coat and re-clear it. But, yeah I think they took your car out on a night of brake action...along with some kick@ss boostin I'm sure.
