thanks man, according to offset calculators it only protrudes out 1mm compared to 9.5 +22, and thats a fairly common size/offset

Does 17x9 +15 fit without serious fender work?

 

Depends on how low the car will run as well the size of tire. I ran 18x9.5 +15 CE28ns with a 255/35 on MR Swift Springs on my IX with -2 F and -1.6 R Camber settings. All 4 fenders were rolled flat and the rears pulled a quarter inch. Hope this gives an idea.
