the official VOLK TE37 thread...
Well. I don't have the offset figured out, that's what im trying to do, id like clean flush wheels, with no spacer would be nice, but what offset will Do that and yes i have read multiple pages on this forum and even still im. Not 100% clear

Also is it better to run a staggered offset? I seen a few setups running +22 saying no issues and then on here there saying possibly lots of rubbing, so that still brings me. Back to offset so many options what really works and what dosent
18x9.5 +18 or +24 or +32 or +38 or +22
18x9.5 +18 or +24 or +32 or +38 or +22
I am about to fit Rota Grid Drift , 18x9.5 +20 front and +30 rear. Needed +20 to clear the Brembo's and did not want to use spacers.
My car is a weekend car so wont be doing rotation very often...
Quick question man, I purchase some te’s and the specs are 18x9.5+40 what would you think my best options are with fitment and tire? Or am I just screwed lol?
Without scrolling back through this thread: You should be fine +40 is only 2mm more conservative than the "standard" +38. TEs are really good for brake caliper clearance. If you needed a spacer, I doubt it would be much. Still, I'd scroll through this thread to double check. I'm sure a 9.5 TE37 with +38 has been tested by now. +38/40 isn't going to be a problem fitting fender/inboard. As for tire, I ran a 255 on my track wheels. I believe there was a *slight* stretch, which I liked as I feel it made the car a bit more responsive. Your results and preference may vary.
I almost feel bad for asking because there's already a wealth of information on here that I've spent hours pouring over, but in my quest for knowledge, I haven't seen if anyone has test fitted some TE37SL variant wheels in 18x9.5 +35 spec and how much front spacer is needed to clear the calipers? I'm at the point where I understand the needs of our rear arches and realize I need a +32-38 offset out back with a 9-9.5" wide wheel, a 255 tire, some lip rolling (already done) and around -1.6-8 camber for acceptable clearance. Then of course, some amount of spacer up front is needed to account for the high offset of +35 to clear the calipers. I just would like to prepare myself for JUST how much! I'm gonna buy ARP studs and run a spacer but would prefer to keep effective offset in the range of +25-28 if possible!
PS I already have TE37 Saga S Plus in 17x9.5 +38 with FACE 4 in bronze on order for 12 months to the day with no further information on a definitive ETA which is frustrating. Am I crazy in seeking out the possibility of the "in-stock" 18" version of the wheel stated above or should I just wait for my 17x9.5 Sagas in bronze and shoot from the hip to find out for myself how much spacer I'll need up front? There's literally no finite info out there on spacer requirements and vendors don't/can't go through the effort to disclose **** even when someone has dropped 1k on a pre-order for a spendy set of forged Japanese wheels.
Thanks and cheers,
Tim

Hi!
Messaging this other thread to ask for help with fitment. My fronts (TE37SL 18x10.5 +15) fit with no rubbing at all, given just a roll. Sure, it pokes out a bit but nothing unmanageable and unsightly.
The rears (TE37SL 18x9.5 +22) rub on hard dips taken at speed and on steep turning inclines. The rears have been rolled already. I couldn't locate properly where it rubs but my hypothesis is on the bumper bolt fastener and so a bolt relocate is up next. Perhaps others who've fit this wheel can guide me? Otherwise, I'm loving the functional reverse staggered fitment, the steering feels much more planted and agile.
