Read up on those Teins. Especially if they are of the green variety - they are better off in your room than on the car.

Tein SS Coilovers - LOWERED (adjusted several times to get it to the height I like and to compensate for speed bumps and angled driveways etc...)

I wanted a lower ride with adjustability so I went with the Tein SS coilovers. I can soften or stiffen the ride simply by turning a knob at each corner. I don't auto-x or drag (maybe I will go down the strip a few times in '09) so I felt this setup would work great for daily driving and, as I mentioned earlier, a few passes down the strip if I decide to go. I'm happy with my purchase and the overall driving experience compared to the original stock setup the car came with when purchased.

Will that is my personal opinion, I drag my Evo so it really doesn't matter to me if I hinder my handling.

Than again getting springs doesn't always ruin your handling. It all depends on what springs you get.

So what is the purpose of this thread? You have a poll up asking ppl if there car is dropped? I left a comment and for some reason you have to question me like a smart ***????

beemerfreak says it right - all depends on which springs you get.

So far, you're the only one who decided to demean others for not making the same choice as yours.

Let me explain. It didn't occur to me to make it on option, as the cost and effort involved are nominal. I assumed, obviously incorrectly, that CT9A owners who wanted to lower their cars would have done so. Thanks for lending your perspective, regardless.

i'm lowered on jic coilovers with the rear springs swapped to a stiffer spring rate. it's a very minimal drop of maybe an inch. once i started tricycling at autocross i decided i needed to step up the suspension. there is another evo owner who was running the same coilovers and spent an entire autocross season fine tuning the height and dampening so i just used his specs. but i was snowplowing a little today so i'm contemplating raising it for the rest of winter, but that's such a hassle cause then i have to align, then in spring i'll want to corner balance and all of that would **** my wife off because i've spent too much time and money on the damn car over the last 6 months.

I'm on stock suspension right now, but will be lowered on GTWorx/RCE springs this winter along with a good alignment.

I'll be rolling that way until I can afford the Whiteline sway bar kit. 26mm front/24mm rear adjustable.

I am lowered on Swift Sport springs. I really like them. They give the car the lowering it needed and it feels tight just like I like it!

If you get a chance, I would love a review on this, since it is the setup I will be going with.
