Loud Clunking noise...please help ???

Loud Clunking noise...please help ???

hey car just hit 89k today and after a launch i hear this loud clunking noise every time i turn...also feels like the wheel is locking up...please help ? is it the axle ?

It could be your tcase or diff or spidergears as well. I hope its the cheapest option..... We just fixed my brothers diff and it made a clunking noise and you could feel the steering wheel jerk too...

o man, i didnt even think of that, with your milage its prolly not to hard to damage them either.

the car runs perfectly fine going straight...i just looked under my car...my right axle looks busted theres grease everywhere...but is the clunking noise suppose to be real loud for a broken axle ? it clicks and clunks...cant feel much on the steering wheel

sory t hear the bad news bro. most likely an axle like everyone is sayin, especially if you see oil coming from it. Do you hear a whining noise? if not prolly not the Tcase

yea no i dont hear any wines or anything....just loud clunking noise when i take a left or right...im just worried because the clunking is pretty loud...how hard is it to change an axle ? any ideas ?

depends on which axle, but really it could take you maybe 30 minutes. pretty easy really

if you're gettin more noise when turning I'm sure it's your axle bro. don't know how much they cost, but you can install it yourself in no time. good luck bro...

i talked with strtrcng426 and it turned out to the the diff in the tcase!! i have the same Problem .. so off to shep it goes..

i have the same clunking/popping noise. It sounds like it is coming from the rear of the car.
