would buying a set of springs and a set of shocks be just as good as buying coilovers?? im not trying to have an extreme drop on my car, just something moderate. and i felt that by doing it this way, it would be cheaper. would those springs wear out my shocks just as fast as if i were to put them on my stock shocks??

bilstein struts and swift springs are a good combo. great ride and not an insain drop.
and the springs dont wear out the shocks like they would stock shocks?? got any pics?

I have Swift Sport springs and I love them. They are a + for handling and drop the car just enough.
im pretty sure id rather do this instead of buying coilovers. im basicly getting everything the same as coilovers except adjustable ride height, correct??

well you wont get the adj ride high or the damp and stiffness adj. but if your not in need of all the adj then why have them. i always think of it as one more thing i will just mess up.Originally Posted by ROOKHOE

its cause im lookin for something with a nice drop that wont sacrifice the life of my struts. i was told that by just using springs that ill kill my struts a lot faster

swift is much better, buy the evo mr struts. they are the bilsteins. extreamly comfortable ride.
alright, i think im gonna do that. just as long as im not gonna need to buy new struts after 6 months or something
