**** my wheel fell off!

So how screwed am I?
I had the passenger axle out and was pushing the car around. Go to get it up on the trailer and I guess the car moved sidways a bit and the whole spindle poped out of the hub! so I look and the spindle it still bolted to the rim and tires but the hub is still attached to the suspension. I could see all the ball bearings and whatnot. so I pushed it back into place and put a large bot with washers and nut on the end through the hole to hole it in place.
The car is at the body shop now so I havn't seen the damage to the hub.

I'm wondering if this is a big problem that the spindle came out of the hub/bearings?
From the pics I've seen online they show the spindle and bearing as one piece.
But in CAPS they show them as two separate parts.

Anyone know what the deal is here?

Thanks.

Hub assembly is 1 piece! Buy a new one.

If you read the Mitsu Svc Manual they tell you to always have the axle in and the nut torqued before applying load to the hub. Gonna cost around $180-190 for a frt hub assy.

Its one piece, they only sell a boot kit and the hole hub.

You're going to need a new assembly. You should never have the car on the ground without an axle in place.
