Whiteline W0588... where does this go?

https://www.whiteline.com.au/store/d...asp?part=W0588
Whiteline calls it "Bush kit-toe control arm inner"

Speed Element shows that installation should be here

In this thread griceiv mentions that the kit is the same as Whiteline's KCA388 (rear bump steer kit), but it doesn't have the offset hole:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/br...-question.html

This thread says that the inner and outer are sperical bearings and that the only bushing for the lower arm assembly is the one that connects to the shock:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...-bushings.html

So my question is, has anyone installed W0588? If so, where does it go? It definitely doesn't replace the LARGER inner bushing... unless you to press out the spherical bearing while keeping the rubber/metal sleeve in there, then press in the W0588 bushing within the sleeve.

I tried pressing out the spherical bearing, but stopped when things looked weird.

yeah that inner is spherical so i can't see why you would swap that out for a urethane bushing if it's not to run the bump steer deal. otherwise no point

I assume you're Sean, right? I recognize that picture from EE.

Thanks for your input. Any idea why those bushings were made? If the spherical bearing/bushing is pressed out, there's no way the tiny W0588 would fit. Unless it's the inner bearing (the spherical itself) is pressed out, leaving the sleave (or whatever it's called), then the Whiteline bushing pressed in.

I don't know what speed element are on about because the pic they have is the lower arm, that bush kit is for the toe control arm which replaces these bushes.

So this kit is the same as the bumpsteer kit (KCA388) minus the bumpsteer correction feature?

Thanks for your input.
