Jic tar and a2

Is there a difference between JIC FLT-TAR and JIC FLTA2 ?

From what I understand there is not a difference between the two valving wise. I believe the TAR has a slightly bigger front piston and the exterior has better corrosion protection.

I have found on the JIC website that they are one of the new versions. The TAR springs are 8kg/7kg. They also have a hard version that is 10kg/14kg.

The TAR coilovers are only updated for certain cars. The TAR's are supposed to be the replacements for the FLT-A2's but not every model has actually been updated. I suggest you contact JIC to check. I ordered a set of TAR's for a JDM type R a while back and I was sent what were indeed FLT-A2's from JIC.
