The ride? Just went cruising for about an hour... Not any more jolting than stock, maybe less even. Seems to have less body roll through fast turns, but then again I didn't notice much roll w/ stock either. Also never had lowering springs before.
Wheel gap is a lot better. Tein says 2" in front 0.9" in back, but the only way to make the larger front gap go away is with a bigger drop in front I guess. Seems to give a slight forward slope. I suppose it depends on what you want - if you want more aggressive, equal wheel gap, go with Tein. If you want more level, with wider front gap, go with Tanabe, Eibach, or something else.
Clearance, not really a problem, even though I was pretty worried about it too. I've just been driving in and out of my driveway at more of an angle.

EVOMIZ, you tint yours yet? I'm getting mine done Saturday!

EVOMIZ, I'll be sure to post pics after my tint job. Some of those Hyperblack's are pretty nice. I'm looking to complete the look with white 18" Volk TE37s, but I probably won't get em until I can save up the money

But yeah, BBY is the best!

If you could post another pic in about two weeks as springs normally settle a bit after a couple of weeks. I would just like to see where they end up.

I heard about this with Tein STechs springs. I also understand that they have fixed this issue and include a lifetime warranty for this problem. Hopefully this will be the case, thanks for the heads up!

Cheers,
Winston

If you have sag can't you just get them replaced under warranty?

Tein VS. H&R

Hey guys got a question for you... Anybody have an opinion on these springs (Tein) vs. the H&R springs? Any feedback would be appreciated..

BTW I know I don't drive an evo but my friend does and I'm looking at getting him some springs to drop the car down for b-day.

Re: Tein VS. H&R

TEIN ALL THE WAY
i swear that they ride better than stock
and look tein (TEN) times better
install was very easy took me 1 1/2 hrs.
I didn't even have to compress the front springs (not for the weak hearted) but easy install

I don't know if anybody has had enough time w/ their EVO to try out 2 different suspension set ups but anybody tried both? Reason I'm wondering is my friend researches the hell out of everything and seems to be set on H&R but I've heard nothing but good things about Tein and that's what I'm getting for my dsm.

i have the teins on BBY as well..they are definitely more comfortable then stock..in the other words..they are not as stiff as stock.. but they are still stiff enough for daily driving..and the do look good.. although the back is still a little lower then the front..but its hardly noticable. i would recommend them for 150 dollars..
