How do I reduce bounce and body roll?

I apologize for the vague nature of my post. I've had the following setups:

1) Stock + Advans,
2) Stock + Kumho ASX
3) Megan Track + Kumho ASX
4) Megan Street + Kumho ASX
5) Megan Street + Dunlop Z1 Star Spec

To me the best feeling was the stock suspension with Advans. By best I mean I liked the firm, planted feel when I took turns. Now my big complaint about Megans (regardless of rebound setting) is the fact that they feel "bouncy". I thought this was just having crap tires (Kumho) but now with the new Dunlop tires I still feel that the car has too much body roll and bounce. This feeling was on both Megan Street/Track versions. On Saturday, I am going to try a members MR Bilstein and Swift Type R springs setup. I use the car for aggressive street driving. Any thoughts on if the spring shock setup will give me the feel I am looking for? Any other suggestions are appreciated.

I'd toss out the Kumho ASX options due to them being a/s. If you don't need winter traction look at the summer tire combo. Their tread design and depth won't help reduce pitch/roll, especially compared to the oe Advans.

Best way to reduce the roll is by lowering the car. May also want to install an anti roll/sway bar, that will help a lot. The right tire will do more for steering response than pitch/roll.

Thanks for the reply Neil. I currently have the new Dunlop tires from Tirerack. In addition to having a sway bar, I am lowered on my Megan Street coilovers. I don't think it's the tires so that leads me to believe I need different springs/struts etc... this is where I am looking for more guidance.

Thanks.

The biggest problem is your spring rates. I have the exact same coilovers as you and no bounce. I swapped out the front springs with an 8kg springs instead of the 12kg. Also the EVO should have higher spring rate in rear due to the multi link rear suspension. In my case it's 8f/10r. I think I paid $45 for brand new front springs shipped off ebay.

Those are the new spring rates. If you have the old is 8k front and 6k rear. You should swap those.

make sure you're running correct tire pressures. My Falken 912s bounce at 34psi and above. Under, they don't. Weird.

Just checked and I currently have
8kg Front and 6kg Rear

=/

The track series felt bouncy. So the middle ground is where it's at?

So the 7 front and 8 rear is ideal?

Its much better to account for our suspension geometry.

One thing you can do is to swap the 8k to the rear and 6k to the front. The way our rears are set up the spring rate is diminished do to how the geometry is. So the 6k rear is more like 4k taking that into account.
