Sorry bro... i got those i guess... I ordered my set of 4 on Wednesday and got them today... 245/45/17 for 95$ each... hella of deal...

I just got my 245/45/17 dunlop star specs mounted on oem bbs wheels and my car is running swift spec rs. No issues with rubbing or anything, love them!

Q it's oliver, I am running 245/45/17 on the BBS. I like them because like SmikeEvo says it helps holding 2nd gear longer. No rubbing issues at all with the swifts. IMO i think the tires look a little too tall for the rim but I am not concerned over the looks. If you want to see mine I'll stop by the shop some time.

Doesnt it slow down the speedometer? For example it says you are going 60 but you are actually going 55

no with a taller tire like 245/45, at 60mph I am actually going 61mph. Check out google and search for miata tire calculator. With that, you can put any wheel size/tire size and find out how it will affect ur speedo.

^That would be yes because your speedo is reading "slower" than you are actually going. At 60 MPH actual speed your speedo would read 59.1 MPH.

My RE-01R's rub with a 20mm spacer up front on stock 9 wheels. They rub on the side skirt near full lock. I'm going to get creative and clearance some stuff I got the 245's because they're a taller than stock tire that i can drag race with and hold it in 4th gear through the traps.
