Just because the car has minimal body roll and "feels" like it's quicker around a turn doesn't really mean it is.

Take Megan coilovers and crank them up to the stiffest settings so you don't get body roll, and take is around the track. Then get into SmikeEvo's Evo and take it around the track and see the difference in times.

No body roll does not mean better. Cars have a suspension for a reason. Everything needs to work in concert. I am faster on this current setup, both in AXs and HPDEs. Sure some of that is driver, but I am running against cars with coil-overs at both.

Track:
Its also about valving. In transitions the Megans felt sloppy and were a handful driverwise (no pun intended). Also S's, Grattan has a good example of them, on the Tracks the car does not fell very stable when doing a quick right, left, right. The first day out on my Sports and HD's it was like butta. The car was more composed in that section and I was able to catch a ton of people in that area. Because I could carry more speed through it.

Nor was it able to take the entry onto the straight as fast. That section is bumpy, causes the car to skip if you are not careful. With the Swifts, I was able to attack at WOT going through that turn. So yes, it was quicker, I was able to get into WOT in places where I could not as quickly before.

AX:
On the Tracks, I had to constantly fight them to rotate the car. I did not swap the springs around to put the 12k in the rear. But playing with the valving adjustment and tire pressures never did help with rotation.

On the Swift/HD's - totally different animal. Car rotates better, and again - transitions. Much more stable.

Just installed my TEIN FLEXs earlier on today ....they are not as bad as they everyone is saying... I guess there is always a question of compared to what factor!! I have FLEXs in my Supra and the ride seems to be similar.

I agree about getting the advantage out of your Bilsteins. Plus, if your going to be driving it most of the time, why spend 2k on a track ready suspension?

you might want to check out fortune-autos custom coilovers. They are fairly cheap and you choose the spring rates and comes with 50mm pistons.
