Tein basics or Megan...
Tein basics or Megan...
What do you guys suggest?? They are about the same as far as price goes? Im looking for a suspension that is good for DD capabilities, not for track purposes at all. Thank you very much in advance for you help fellow EVOM members.

Personally, neither. There are proper springs that will do and are cheaper. Search Swifts, GTWorx, RobiSpec. Take advantage of your MR Bilstein struts.
You got MR Bilsteins. Get some good springs and be done with it. SWIFTs or GTWorx will out perform both of the coilovers.
Price is within 10% difference between the two brands. Megan will allow for a drop without reduction of shock travel and Tein basic have a shorter shock. Discussion on this board might not be tailored for your information needs. The only way to find out if you like them is to ride in a car with coilovers.
Another one for neither, I trashed my Megans quickly driving on city streets, ride wasn't that good, handling was pretty comparable to my Swift springs...rather do the springs imo or save up for a nicer set of coilovers.

I would agree with smike as your lucky enough to have the bilstein struts to begin with. Get some decent springs and be done with it. No point getting adjustable coilovers(megan)if your not going to put them to there fullest use.
Thanks for all the comments and thoughts guys, currently my car has 23k (dropped with tanabe springs for about 7k) looking for a more aggressive look more than the handling capabilities..... Hence the quest for a coilover setup.... ! What about the TEIN FLEX?? From my search people have complained about the harsh ride...

My buddy has flex's on his sti, thought they felt pretty stiff no matter what he adjusted the dampening to...I know they're two diff cars but I didn't like the way they rode. I would try and hit up some tristate meets and talk to people about their susp and try to get a test drive.
Thank you I could not have said it better. Lack of camber, tons of body roll. I'm guessing most of those guys who said otherwise do not track their car much.

I actually had Megan Tracks before going to Bilstein HD/Swifts -- my difference was night and day...better on the HD/Swifts.
