Rays Duraluminum Lugs

SUCK!

I just went to install them tonight and after one install they look like I have taken them on and off 20 times. You would think for $120 bucks they would stay looking pretty new after only one install. Anyone else experience this problem?

why would you waste your money on set of lugnugs? I'd rather spend my money on a performance part, company like RAYS like people to waste money on bling stuff

I guess you could look at it that way but i look at it like this. Compared to the heavy lugs I had on before and the almost 1lb per corner in weight I'm saving, then these are a really good power mod for slightly over $100s in that I lose 4lbs of unsprung weight.

You're not the only one. I had a set of black Rays lugs and they chipped easy.

they do suck.... & cannot take a beating on the track, almost guaranteed to strip them... but if you handle them fine like baby chicklets they'll look pimp as u roll up to the local car meets

I've had some cheap ($45) black Muteki lugs for a while now and they still look new after being taken on and off about 10 times... just ordered some of the Neo-Chrome Mutekis to try out for the titanium look, for inexpensive lightweight lugs they aren't bad! I wouldnt have expected the quality to be crappy with Rays...

Aluminum is not the best material for lug nuts. Now make 'em in Titanium and we got something!

the Mutekis are cold forged 1008 steel so they are as strong or stronger than stock, but weigh half as much
