Weird Vibration Issue
Weird Vibration Issue
My car really vibrates (feels like I am driving over bumps in the road) when I turn either right or left at very low speed usually in first gear. not the weird thing is, it only does this when the clutch is engaged. when i depress the cluth pedal the vibration goes away. its really starting to **** me off.
the problem seemed to start right when i replaced the stock clutch with an ACT 2900 street and prolight flywheel.
suspension mods are megan coilovers and rear cusco strut brace.
any ideas?
thanks in advance

Sound more like the clutch. At really low speeds, the car is fighting a stall and bucks, which sounds like what you are talking about. Try to either go neutral when going that slow or modulate the clutch pedal and give some more gas when moving in slow turns.
its not stalling or bucking, but when i do press the clutch in the vibration goes away. so now to avoid this i just accelerate a little faster around corners and press the clutch...i guess i will get used to it

nope...brand new out of the box flywheel.
theshop replaced by t-case, clutch, and flywheel and changed all the diff fluids for me at the same time. The problem was barely noticeable when I first started driving it, but now it is bad, and it sounds like everything is clunking underneath the car.
I am going to check everything out this weekend and take the mechanic for a drive and see what he thinks.
Thanks for the info
