Been trying to find the answer but does anyone know how much will EVO MR suspension lower an EVO 8?

Zero.

Same springs in both - only difference is the strut (KYB to Bilstein).

+1 what SmikeEvo said. Be careful with what springs you put on the Evo 8 MR shocks, I believe I was the first person in the country to destroy my KYB Bilstein with the POS Teis S springs. Do a search in my name like back in 04'. I had a Evo 8 MR in 04' and I put the Tein S on my stock shocks. This combo destroyed my suspension in less than a week. It destroyed my toires before I could even schedule it for a alignment.

I went with Megan Racing coilover suspension(do a search on my name) and they worked great.

So if 0 lowering then why si their not a new shock set for the evo? I thought the Bilsteins were real good and could take lowering springs I mean for 1500+ shocks.

Carlos says be careful on which springs you get - not dont get springs.

MR and HD are great choices for the Evo. If you can find a set, grab them.

So the evo 8 MR suspension is the same as a regular evo 8? so no sense on switching?

See my post. The difference is the strut. The MR Bilsteins are different than the KYBs on the GSR/RS.

Yes, MR are different than HD. MR are softer than the HDs.

Springs - not too low, stiffer rates, quality construction and design (rates). The three I recommend - Swift, GTWorx, and RobiSpec. All are well put together and designed well (rates / drop).
