I have been pondering getting some lower-cost tires so that I don't wear out my stock tires once every 10K miles. However, I'd like the retain the some high performance tires for track/auto-x use. With that in mind, I was wondering if anyone has opinions on the following options:

a) keep the OEM wheels for track use, get really cheap wheels for daily use -- if I go with this route, can anyone recommend really cheap wheels?

b) use the OEM wheels for daily use, get lighter weight track wheels -- if I go this route, can anyone recommend good wheels?

I think I'm more concerned with cost than weight/prettiness so perhaps the best thing to do would be to try to get some used wheels..

Opinions?
