Open ended lug questions...?

Anything I need to know when putting them on? load them up with anti-seize ect? They will only be on spring-fall, no snow and salt, or are there disadvantages to them vs closed ended lugs?

Im going with the neo chrome look against a flat black wheel, without wanting to spend 250+, so my options are the muteki or mackin industries....any suggestions on which are better?

advantage, less weight

dis-advantage, more prone to corrosion due to opening, but not much more

don't use anti-seize it will mess up the torque setting

just a little WD-40 if anything at all.

The Muteki are okay, not the lightest and I have seen them rust. But they only cost about $100

I have these and they are really nice Buddy Club P1 gunmetal lugs.

They are 7075AL Magnesium and are less than 1lb for all 4 wheels. .5oz a piece I believe. They are hard anodized also...virtually impossible to scratch. They are open ended and are as strong as you are going to get for lugs. They cost about $100-120 a set.

Little hint to prevent rust, take some flat black paint and paint the ends of the studs. This way they wont rust inside your lug nuts. You can also do that to your hubs if you don't have center caps.
