Harsh noise when braking

Hey guys, recently bought an Evo 9 MR.

When I brake I normally hear a squeaking/squealing noise but I am also hearing a more rougher grinding/rubbing noise when I brake hard, appears to be coming from the right front.

Anyone else had this issue or know what it might be?

Probably gonna take it into on monday

Thanks

Pull the pads out (really easy, even for a novice since its only 2 pins) and take a look for a worn pad and/or rotor.

Does not need to go to the dealer to check that. Unless you like wasting money.

Follow S2kracka's advice. My guess is the inner pads are worn too thin. Time for new pads. See the sticky on brake pads here.
