At times I look at lowered Evos and admire the aesthetics. Then I consider what I'd have to spend to achieve that and maintain the performance aspects of the setup, along with a fit for my driving style, and wonder why I'd blow that much money to modify something that works perfectly to begin with and risk getting a worse handling car as a (err....) "bonus."

And yes, i have been using the search button =)

Thanks members.

also: i just wanted to do this for everyone looking to get rid of their wheel gap, but w/o losing good suspension.
My car is pretty low with my coilovers. I sit just a few inches off the ground, but it's starting to get me into trouble with bumps in certain places. So I'm going to have to bring it up a bit.

My car handled awesome when I installed the coilovers and lowered it. On windy roads other stock evos have a hard time keeping up with me.

their is no way a stock suspended evo would keep up with my evo.. given we were on the same tires.
my Evo is not slammed but it is lower, I do not have any issues with scraping anywhere and i have a APR lip as well.

Yeah, that sounds like a real scientific measurement of "handling."

Lowering an EVO lowers the roll center, which actually makes the car roll more. Usually when you lower the car you use stiffer springs too, so overall roll might be less, but that change in geometry means the car is rolling more than it should. The Whiteline kit helps reduce this.

^ Word.

And remember folks, the roll center kit does not give you more bump travel after slamming the car!
