Hopefully they won't cause premature failure of the Bilsteins that some people have experienced with other springs. The Swifts were quite comfortable so if these are even softer it should be a real quality ride (I'm getting old). But I think I'll be happier with the drop with the Eibachs. I'll look into that rear sway bar. Thanks for the tip scheides. Can you take a quick snap of your car with the Eibachs and Bilsteins? Thanks.

I highly doubt they will fail early. If they do and its not catastrophic, it will be worth it, they are not that expensive to get rebuilt. Rear sway was seriously mixed in with modding round #1 on my car: MBC, TBE, intake, tune and rear sway. Well well well worth it!

I didn't think I had any pics of the eibach/bilstein combo, but it turns out I do. They're not awesome pics but as you can see, its pretty much impossible to tell the difference in shocks unless yous tick your nose in my wheel well and look for yellow.

I raced a season on the Sport springs. And again, the Eibachs are have a clear softer initial rate and probable softer final rate. So if anything, you will be increasing roll.

I recommend doing both sway bars or going to the Spec Rs if you want the stiffest ride.

Struts do not care where they stroke from! They do care if they bottom out though. That is what kills them.

And there is no difference on mounting springs on the KYB or MR or HD struts. All will look the same.

My car is running 18x9.5 +22 rims and 255/35/18 tires.
No rubbing fenders at all.

so these seem like some good springs to get. I ordered these springs yesterday and should be at my house in four days. I have 18" volks and was wondering how it would sit. seeing all the pics the drop and stance looks great. i have a question though, how is the chamber on it. did yall see a big difference in rear tire wear? i dont wanna have to go and buy tires every few months like i did on past vehicles.

It's really not that big of a deal to install. Personally, I didn't care for the car's balance with just a rear bar. It felt less predictable resulting in slower cornering. Having a matched F/R setup is a whole 'nother animal. I guess it all depends on how one drives the car.

i know it isnt like hondas. just was curious as to how the chamber would be after this eibach spring drop. my friends evo has some neg chamber in the back after the tien drop. thats why im asking. any info from anyone would be greatly appreciated. preferably from someone who has this exact spring set up on their evo.

Thanks for the pic man! I pulled the trigger on these. Pairing them with Bilstein HD's. I'm getting the SE lip as well since I'll be riding a little higher in the front than with my current Hotchkiss.

As long as you have a decent alignment with zero toe, a couple of degrees of CAMBER won't destroy your tires.
